Rome – Piazza del Popolo

The Egyptian obelisk at the center of la Piazza del Popolo was commissioned by Seti I and erected by Ramses II – it was brought to Rome in 10 BC during the reign of Augustus.
In the piazza typically you can find tourists, creepy foreign dudes trying to sell flowers to the tourists, and a company that rents Segways to crazy tourists trying not to run over the creepy foreign dudes selling flowers to other tourists.
